About the Neighborhood
As a brand new community, Dufferin Heights doesn’t have much to show for at the present. Largely dependent on the use of a car, residents here need to drive 6 minutes south to Kingston Road to reach the closest retail area, or 8 minutes to Pickering Town Centre and the city’s downtown core. And yet, these places only suggest at the future amenities that will make this neighbourhood anything but a sleepy bedroom community.
